The crazy days of summer

Things have been super busy for the past month! The last time I wrote, I had to get a new car because the Honda (RIP) had taken it's last drive in this world. It took about a week and a half, but I finally got a new car. I got a 2007 Ford Focus. It is GREAT!! The doors close all on their own, no skipping ropes required. It doesn't sound like the Hummer of the old days, and, well....it's a new car!

My new job is awesome....I am just as busy now as I was when I was working two jobs, but I love it. The families I work with are great, and I really enjoy all my new clients.

We have gone camping with my parents, to the Tragically Hip concert, to an air show to see the Snow Birds, to see Thornley in concert....including meeting back stage passes, I've gone to Edmonton, to the beach a few times, and in the boat fishing. Next weekend we are going to Grand Prairie to go to Jay's cousin's wedding. We are also hoping to go to Calgary to see Victoria (Jay's niece) Needless to say, the summer has been extremely busy...


The weather has been crazy the past few days, big huge storms...thunder, lightning, hail etc! When we were camping (in tents of course) it stormed for an hour and a half...

A few pictures of what's been going on this summer....it has been awesome having my mom around! We hang out pretty well every weekend. They are gone on vacation for a few weeks, but we'll probably meet up with them in Calgary and head home together. Soon summer will be over, and winter will be here. BOO!!
