summer time comes to a close

Summer is now on it's way out. It has been getting below 0 here at night....brrrrr! School has started, and with that my crazy hours have also started. Because I work with children at home with their families, it all has to be done after school. I work until about 8:30 every night, then come home make and eat supper and anything else that needs to be done. Luckily, because I don't finish until later in the evening, I don't have to start first thing in the morning, so I am able to sleep in a bit and get most of my house cleaning and what not done before I go to work. It doesn't really matter though....I really love my job and have been seeing a lot of successes with my clients over the past few weeks. I have to say though...toilet training autistic children requires a great deal of patience and gum!

Other than work, I have stared agility again with Scrappy. We had our first class of level two this week. It was tons of fun....I am really glad that we got into it. At some point I'll get Jay to take some pictures of us and I'll post them.
Jay's birthday was last week, and we had a great time. We went to Montana's for dinner.
Jay wasn't very happy about the moose antlers, but he was a good sport. He was spoiled for his birthday, but is worth it!

On another note, Chris is in town. He arrived last week and will be here until the beginning of January. I picked him up at the air port on Wednesday. Unfortunately Giselle (his wife) was unable to come, but she'll come up to visit a few times while he is here. He is planning on going back to school in the new year, so he came up to make some fast cash.

Last weekend was the Blueberry Festival. We all went on a helicopter ride! It was so much fun!

I got to sit in the front with the pilot! It was very awesome. All in all, we had a really good summer. We got to see our niece in Calgary and went to Calayway Park. We went to Grande Prairie for a wedding, all kinds of stuff. I'm thinking that the fall will settle down and I'll have plenty of time to get into my scrapbooking again. I have tons of pictures of my drive across the country from last summer to get into an album...as well as all the things from this summer. Hopefully, I'll start to update my blog on a regular basis. I know that I love to read what everyone else is up to....so hopefully we'll all find a little bit more time...
